An exploration of realtime audio and video manipulation using custom software. Created by Arvid Tomayko.
The music was recorded and manipulated in four live takes. First I recorded myself playing Trumpet and Drums simultaneously and then performed and recorded a realtime manipulation of that recording. I recorded separate tracks of drums and trumpet to mix with the manipulated recording.
The video manipulation was performed in realtime using custom “live editing” software and all original footage from Arches National Park, Colorado National Monument, Narragansett Bay, Providence RI and highways in Colorado, Utah and Ontario.
